Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Renegade Model Railroading. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, tracked, and handled when delivery issues occur.
Order Processing
Most in-stock orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment is successfully completed.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
Processing time is separate from carrier transit time. During holidays, sales, product releases, severe weather, or periods of unusually high order volume, processing may take longer.
Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
Available shipping methods, charges, and estimated delivery times are calculated and displayed during checkout based on factors such as:
- Delivery destination
- Package weight and dimensions
- Selected shipping method
- Products included in the order
Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.
Renegade Model Railroading is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, natural disasters, customs processing, transportation interruptions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Shipping Carriers
Orders may be shipped through USPS, UPS, FedEx, or another appropriate carrier based on the package, destination, cost, and selected shipping service.
We reserve the right to select a comparable carrier or shipping service when necessary to fulfill an order properly.
Order Tracking
When tracking is available, a shipping-confirmation email containing tracking information will be sent after the order has shipped.
Tracking information may take up to 24–48 hours to begin displaying movement after the carrier receives the package.
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and making reasonable arrangements to receive their packages.
Shipping Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address during checkout.
Please review the shipping address carefully before submitting an order. Address-change requests should be sent immediately to:

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order enters processing or ships.
Renegade Model Railroading is not responsible for delivery problems caused by an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address provided by the customer.
Returned or Undeliverable Packages
Packages may be returned to us because of:
- An incorrect or incomplete address
- Refusal by the recipient
- Failure to retrieve the package
- Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts
- Other carrier-related delivery issues
When a package is returned to us, we will contact the customer.
The customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges if the order must be shipped again. When a refund is approved instead, original shipping charges are nonrefundable unless the return resulted from our error.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Orders that arrive damaged or contain an incorrect item must be reported within 3 days of delivery.

Please provide:
- Your name
- Order number
- A description of the problem
- Clear photographs of the item
- Photographs of the shipping box and packaging
- Photographs of the shipping label, when applicable
Keep the product and all original packaging until the issue has been reviewed. We may require the packaging when submitting a claim with the shipping carrier.
Lost Packages
If tracking has not updated for an extended period or the package appears to be lost, contact us at:

We will review the tracking information and, when appropriate, assist with a carrier claim or investigation.
Carrier investigations may require additional time. A replacement or refund will not be issued until we have reviewed the circumstances and determined an appropriate resolution.
Packages Marked Delivered
When tracking shows that a package was delivered but it cannot be located, customers should first:
- Check around the delivery location.
- Ask household members, neighbors, building staff, or property management.
- Check for a carrier delivery notice.
- Contact the shipping carrier.
- Allow one additional business day, because some packages are scanned before final delivery.
After completing those steps, contact us so we can review the matter.
Renegade Model Railroading does not guarantee replacement or reimbursement for packages stolen after confirmed delivery or delivered incorrectly because of an address supplied by the customer.
Split Shipments
Orders containing multiple products may be shipped in separate packages.
When an order is split into multiple shipments, separate tracking numbers may be provided. Customers will not be charged additional shipping solely because we choose to divide an order into multiple packages.
Preorders, Backorders, and Special Orders
Products identified as preorders, backorders, or special orders may have longer processing times.
Any availability or release date shown for such products is an estimate and may change because of manufacturer, distributor, production, or transportation delays.
When an order contains both in-stock and preorder or backordered merchandise, the order may be held until all items are available or shipped separately at our discretion.
International Shipping
International shipping is available only to destinations accepted during checkout.
International customers are responsible for all applicable:
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- Brokerage charges
- Handling fees
- Government assessments
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge unless expressly stated during checkout.
Customs authorities may delay, inspect, restrict, or reject an international shipment. Renegade Model Railroading does not control customs processing and cannot guarantee international delivery dates.
Customers are responsible for confirming that ordered merchandise may legally be imported into their destination country.
As stated in our Return and Refund Policy, international orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Shipping Delays and Cancellations
We make reasonable efforts to ship orders within the processing period stated in this policy.
If we cannot ship within the promised period, we may contact the customer with a revised shipping estimate and provide the opportunity to accept the delay or cancel the unshipped order for a refund, as required by applicable law. Federal rules require online sellers to have a reasonable basis for advertised shipping times and to offer cancellation or a refund when required if those times cannot be met.
